Kuruwita Sri Pada road
Sri Pada is a beautiful and religious hill in the Ratnapura District of Sri Lanka.I had a lot of experiences during the second pilgrimage to Sri Pada. The period between December Poya and Vesak Poya is considered as the Siripa season. The period from Vesak Poya to December Poya is not the Siripa season and heavy rainfall is received during that period. There is a language used only in the worship of Sri Pada. The most beautiful road I saw was the road from Kuruwita Adaviyakanda to Siripadaya. The road is about 14 km long and runs through a small forest footpath.Pilgrims traveling on this route should be very careful and see the maximum of natural beauty. It takes about 10/12 hours for pilgrims to cross this.I think this is beautiful journey.
Lucky experience
